Meaning thumb:
- Symbol to stop time – possible relation to thyroid.
- Keeping time under your thumb.
- Wanting to stop time to enjoy life as long as possible.

- Mourning for father. Did I spend enough time with father?
- Waiting for approval from father, boss, judge, etc.
- Approval or disapproval of father or authority.
- Thumbs up: wanting to go back to the womb/baby time. Thumbs up creates safety, peace, balance, symbolism of at the breast. May also have to do with waiting for father’s approval.
- Thumb in the mouth also has a relationship to taste and tasting.
- You need the thumb to grip an object properly. Self-esteem disposition (EWI) in relation to awkwardness.

Meaning index finger
Blaming: pointing at the other person.
- Indicates direction.
- Intelligence.
- Mother-Soul-Alone disposition (MZA): I feel lost, isolated.
- Self-esteem impact (EWI): pointing to the conflict
- Culture: not being allowed to say something, silence, appeasement, having to keep your mouth shut.
- Desperate need to be heard
- It would have been better if I had been quiet
- Broken promise: I could not keep my word.
- Unable to ask for help for/on life path.
- Competition, comparing. The other does better, e.g., computer game, work, hobbies, sports, personal life.
- In the family tree: child born to a lover/of a lover or hidden child/child is kept quiet because of disability, out of wedlock, etc.

Lower part of index finger: word or mistress. Example: ‘For years I had a lover. When this ended, because I moved in with my then-boyfriend, I broke lower part of my index finger.’

Meaning middle finger
The original meaning of the middle finger gesture is 2,500 years old and comes from Greek civilization. ‘Katapugon,’ as the gesture was called, meant for the Greeks anal sex or a homosexual relationship. In those days, the middle finger meant: I like you.
- Sexuality. Through sexuality you are born, so this finger is very important.
- Is your father your father? Was your father a “womanizer”? Was your mother a nymphomaniac?
- Relationship of child and father: child with other partner, compound family, miscarriage, abortion, stillborn child, and so on. Do I marry for love or money?
- Longing for a child. Choosing between two lovers. Sexual frustration.

The parts of the middle finger:
Upper middle finger: desire to have a child, am I straight-bi-homosexual, am I the right partner, do I have a right bed partner?
Middle part middle finger: a man has to choose between two women, memories of cheating, partner exchanges, sex orgies, I need more foreplay, difficulty doing what you like, need sexual contact.
Lower middle finger: in relation to the male part, fear of losing my bed partner, I want a partner in my bed, can’t have an orgasm, forced to have sex, need for sex, I can’t satisfy my desires.
Meaning ring finger
- All forms of cooperation.
- Separation. For example a boy breaks his ring finger during volleyball, his parents get divorced.
- Need for independence. Independence in a relationship.
- What do you want to see/not see? What do you want to close your eyes to? Example: a girl from Japan falls in love with a Dutch boy. Just before her departure for Holland, she finds out that he has another person. She gets a birthmark on the inside of her ring finger.
- Connected to eye, lungs and colon, among others.
- Emotions: including negativity, sadness, fear of rejection, grief, jealousy, rejection.
- Physical symptoms: tinnitus, breathing problems, asthma, skin diseases, digestive problems, among others.
- Element: air.
- The parts of the ring finger:
Upper ring finger: unsuccessful in love and sex, quarreling with partner, when two parties quarrel, not knowing who to choose, not daring to break up, jealous.
Middle part ring finger: difficulty being a couple/couple, sacrificing in a relationship, going against a family member or partner, needing to be with someone, unable or afraid to separate, not listening to each other properly.
Lower part of ring finger: relationship with mistress/lover, no longer getting a kiss from partner, are you forced to marry?
Meaning pink
- When you tell the truth, sometimes you have to “pay the price.
- The little finger determines the strength, speed and agility of the hand’s grasping ability. So the little finger has a lot of power and, as a result, it is related to the opposing force: powerlessness.
- The little finger is in relation to the earlobe and heart, hence its relation to home.
- Difficulty feeling comfortable in your own home. Difficulty moving in with someone. Difficulty making your home your home. Are there any problems at home?
- With your little finger you clean or tickle your ear, hence linked to hearing and family secrets, something to be confessed. What do you have to lie about?

The parts of the little finger:
Upper part: mystery where you come from. Forced to keep a secret. Powerless when you confess a secret. Accidentally heard a secret and have problems with this. Impotence in marking territory.
Middle part: wanting to keep the child at home. Problems with listening at school, study, teacher. Trouble listening to yourself (intuition).
Lower part: I want to free myself from this secret, burden. It’s too heavy, which is why I want to confess it. Did someone die at home?
Toes
Mean big toe:

- Mother pushes me in a certain direction (sound here for hallux valgus)

- By whom do you feel manipulated?
- Focus, multitasker, delegate, efficiency, charming, persuasive of your ideas, smart, creative, quick to solve problems.

- Emotions: including joy, sadness, angry, rage, annoyance, tired.
- Physical symptoms: including stiffness of muscles/tendons, itching, eye complaints, ingrown nail, nail complaints, instep and ankle complaints, lower leg ulcers (in relation to where the liver meridian runs), vertical crease between the eyes, spleen complaints, quick bruising, weak tired muscles, digestion, pale lips, cracked corners of mouth, wrinkled corners of mouth.

- Emotions: among other feelings. What are you sensitive to? Worry, people shy, fear, anxiety dreams.
- Physical symptoms: taste, eye pain, eye fatigue, stomach upset, jaw, and mouth discomfort, biting on upper lip, thin upper lip, dry, red upper lip, among others

- What blocks you from living your passion? Example: with New Year’s Eve from 2014 to 2015, I feel that my life would change. A magical feeling I can’t really put my finger on. The next day 01-01-2015 I break my middle toe. I had already decided to start HeartConnection in 2015, which I also found very exciting because it is hugely innovative. Breaking my middle toe made my talent flow more, my potential came to full expression. The toe break made my blockage go away and I was able to live my passion.
