Heel Spur
The body stands on the heel bone. When we walk, the heel bone is the first part of our foot to touch the earth. Therefore, heel bone represents discovering something new. It represents a pioneer. Below is an explanation of heel spur, cause, meaning and biological process.
The body stands on the heel bone. When we walk, the heel bone is the first part of our foot to touch the earth. Therefore, heel bone represents discovering something new. It represents a pioneer: someone who is one of the first to enter a certain area and has to find his way there without being able to draw on the experience of others. Problems with the heel bone can stem from difficulty starting something new, fear of the unknown or what you might find out. This is all in relation to self-esteem impact (EWI). Heel bone is also related to difficulty taking the first place, being in the foreground, being important in a group or project, and so on.
Symbolism heel bone
Heel bone is symbolically related to the biblical figure Jacob, the second son of Esau. He lies to his blind father to take the position of the first son. Symbol heel bone: taking someone’s place or your place being taken. Attack or defeat someone stronger than you (EWI). Or lose your position even though you are stronger. Look at conflicts in the family related to identity conflicts, adopting another name to cover up a secret, and so on. Consider also Esau: he is tricked, cheated by his precious son. This unprocessed feeling can end up at the heel bone.
The heel also appears in the myth of Achilles: the strongest man is defeated by an arrow in his Achilles tendon. That is his only vulnerable spot, which is why he dies. Heel bone therefore also symbolizes, “because of my weakness I lose everything.
The heel bone does not generally receive much attention. Heel bone therefore also symbolizes the feeling of being put out, of not belonging.
The heel has a relationship with occiput (the occipital bone) and sacrum (sacrum): “Fear of my weaknesses, fear of myself. There is also a connection to the shoulder: “Because of my weakness, I cannot (keep) what I have.
In Hebrew, there is a relationship between heel and dog. Problems with the heel can indicate a problem with a dog. Is there a story with a dog?
Biological process heel bone:
- EWI (new-mesoderm tissue)
- CA decrease tissue
- Pcl increase tissue, heel spur, inflammation
- After recovery, you are stronger than before. You have more strength, more ability to do handle the conflict next time.
Heel spur: recovering phase
Heel spur is the reparative phase of the heel bone (see also muscles and joints). For example:
- Relationship with mother, painful contact with your mother. For example, “My mother died and I miss her.
- Relationship with a dog: ‘My dog died and I miss my dog’.
- Are there problems with your mother, with your dog or……?
- Direction, making choices: are you going in the right direction? You have closed something and you are now thinking twice about what to do next.
- Not being able to stand someone or a situation.
- Self-esteem conflict: not being able to walk, dance, balance, jump, kick, slow down, etc.
- You want to walk away from a situation, but you have felt blocked. Or you were too small to get out of this situation. You wanted to run away, to flee, but you couldn’t. Now you are an adult and now you can run away or run away, but you don’t do it. Making your own choice.
If heel spur is prolonged, repeat the above issues all the time.
Sample heel spur
A woman feels guilty about mother’s accident. Mother has a bone fracture of her heel. After the cast is removed and mother can walk again, woman goes into healing = heel spur. The woman had suffered a vicarious Self-Esteem Conflict (EWI) impact for her mother.
