Divorce – Divorce conflict – Skin
While talking, Marjolein led me to the nasty, compacted feeling in my stomach, and before I knew it, I was shaking and crying heartbreakingly like a 16-year-old adolescent. Yes dear people, unprocessed grief and pain just stays in your body. After connecting-melting-letting go, I freed myself.
Unprocessed grief
On the way to HeartConnection Training, I put on music by Barbara Streisand, one of those sing-along tunes in case there’s something coming. Because that all sorts of things get hit during such a workout has become clear to me. In fact, I went there just for that! But since I prefer to be sad by myself rather than in a group of 13 people, I thought it would be good to anticipate in the car what might come next. Then just get that out of the way. And while Barbara strikes that one sensitive chord with me and I cry tears, suddenly, out of nowhere, images of my parents’ divorce come to mind. Not from my own divorce 10 years ago, no, from my parents 35 years ago!!! I had not experienced this before….
I remember well how I comforted my friend at the time and also my father. And that I was okay with, because well, that my parents did not have a nice married life had been clear to me for years. And now that compelling music by Ms. Streisand just brought me right to my feelings! Very special.
When the Marjolein asked if anything special had happened, I shared my story a little timidly. Reason for her to elaborate. I already had a hunch that it could be my turn that day. Fortunately.
Connecting – Fusing – Letting go
While talking, Marjolein led me to the nasty, compacted feeling in my stomach, and before I knew it, I was shaking and crying heartbreakingly like a 16-year-old adolescent. Yes dear people, unprocessed grief and pain just stays in your body. And we unconsciously carry with us day in and day out. That information was not new to me, I knew that. But knowing and feeling are still two different things. Finally, I had now come to that feeling.
On the way back, I put Barbara on again. To roar out what might still be there. Empty. Nothing. The only thing I roared were Barbara’s high notes, which I was nowhere near achieving.

Hair loss – separation conflict
Hair loss occurs after divorce-conflict collapse; once the conflict is resolved, hair growth returns. We often see hair loss after separation from a loved one, a child who died, lost all shares at once, and so on. Understanding your complaint? Come to a One Day, click here for One Days near you.
