With expertise and compassion, we work to provide fundamental legal protection so that our clients can achieve safety, autonomy and access to opportunities. In addition to direct legal representation, we work with policy makers and advocate for equal rights and protection of the law. Maslon recognizes that we must lead both in our professions and in the communities we serve to address the growing number of unmet legal needs among the disadvantaged. As lawyers, we believe that such work is our moral and ethical responsibility and fundamental to the integrity of the justice system.

These values are of paramount importance to our company, inherited from six decades of loyal service to the community. There is a cap of 6 hours of CLE credit on pro bono hours for each 3-year CLE reporting period. Our longstanding commitment to pro bono work includes participating in the Law Firm Pro Bono Challenge, a pact entered into by the nation`s largest law firms to significantly increase the amount of pro bono work in their organizations. In addition, Maslon participates in the Minnesota State Bar Association`s North Star Lawyers program, which recognizes members who provide 50 or more hours of pro bono legal services per year to those who would otherwise be unable to afford representation.
