Snoring
Snoring may be linked to inhalation or, conversely, to exhalation. This has to do with a particular chunk. What story does snoring tell?
Snoring is a tricky phenomenon when you have to listen to this every night. It may help if you understand the message of snoring. Also for the snorer himself, by the way. In snoring, air vibrates in the soft area at the back of the mouth against the inner lining of the pharynx.
Inhalation or exhalation
Snoring may be linked to inhalation or, conversely, to exhalation. This has to do with a particular chunk:
- Inhalation: what chunk can’t you get your hands on?
- Exhalation: which chunk can’t you let go? Usually in relation to the partner.
Territory
With snoring on inhalation you indicate your territory: this is my territory, my sexual partner. I need you. I have a need for sex. This also applies if you want to keep loved ones in your territory, for example, your sister, partner, children, and so on. You call for help, you need help or protection.
On the contrary, if you want to keep your partner away, snoring is linked to exhalation. Also snoring in pregnancy indicates that you then want to create distance. Leave me alone! Snoring also takes place on exhalation when there is a memory of danger, for example, a burglary, child abuse or rape in the night.
Child
When a child snores, it can have several meanings:
- father and/or mother need sex
- father and/or mother goes to other men/women
- lack protection.
- disaster parents/ ancestors in the night.
Sanne’s story
Sanne (12) has had heavy breathing while sleeping since birth; she snores. Extraordinary with such a little girl. What story is Sanne telling with her snoring? Mother has a suspicion that father is cheating and after some time she is confirmed in this. This is what prompted mother to divorce. Over the years, the girl continues to snore. Her parents have co-parenting. Sanne misses protection from her father at night; she feels that father is not there for her. She feels she has been abandoned by him. Several conversations between mother, father and daughter take place. Father promises to try harder to put his daughter to bed in the evening and tuck her in for a while. Daughter feels understood and heard; her snoring stops.
