Cruciate ligament – knee
The knee cruciate ligament is related to self-esteem conflict and "too much is expected of me. Francoise (15) tore her cruciate ligament while playing field hockey. You can read below what story her cruciate ligament tells. Interesting explanation and meaning of the knee and cruciate ligament.
The knee: the story of our need
The knee tells a story of our need. What do you want? What are your needs? Are you following your needs? The knee also represents expectations in relation to your mother. You think your mother has certain expectations of you and this is what you live by. For example, “I don’t have permission to be far away from my mother.”
Knee also stands for sportsmanship equity (EWI), competition. “I have to be better than the other. I want to be first.” This case involves a conflict of unfulfilled ambition or recognition, such as not being able to walk, jump, climb stairs, and so on.
The knee may further relate to a feeling of:
- injustice
- (in)productivity
- faith and spirituality in certain cultures
- birth and our origins
- start of projects/ideas manifest
- not submitting to you, for example a father not wanting to submit to his child or not wanting to submit to your mother’s will
- A forced pregnancy in the family tree
Francoise’s cruciate ligament story
The cruciate ligament of the knee is related to sports self-esteem conflict and “too much is expected of me. Francoise (15) tore her cruciate ligament while playing field hockey. She keeps having symptoms and decides two years to have surgery on her cruciate ligament. In the evening, she experiences heavy bleeding because of the surgery. Recovery is complicated. “What happened at 15?” I ask her mother, because the knee is related to mother. Her mother tells of finding out a secret about her mother at that age. From then on, she did not trust her mother. This conflict was never resolved. Her daughter’s crotch strap narrates the drama between mother and her grandmother.
Grandma decided from her survival to live this secret. Very possibly there is a possibility of talking to her?
I tip mother and granddaughter to repeat the following phrases regularly:
“I am not responsible for you, mother/grandmother. All secrets I leave with you. Even though I don’t always understand your actions and behavior, I know you are doing this to survive. Thanks to you, I am alive. Thank you. I am sorry that you carry this secret, this tension and have lived to survive. I forgive myself for carrying this secret, this tension with me for so long. I love me. Thank you.”
