Depression and anger Peter (age 4)
Things are not going well for Peter (4). His mother does not understand. Her infant son was always tremendously open, social, creative and entrepreneurial. But since moving from preschool to kindergarten, he has been quick to anger, withdrawn and depressed. By attending the HeartConnection Training, mother understands more and more about herself and her son. Peter went from happy to depressed and back to happy again. Things are not going well for Peter (4). His mother does not understand. Her infant son was always tremendously open, social, creative and entrepreneurial. But since moving from preschool to kindergarten, he has been quick to anger, withdrawn and depressed. Together we will explore.

So we find out that at preschool Peter was really valued for who he is, Peter could be himself there. In kindergarten, he has to participate in the teacher’s program. Peter had made something there out of wood, of which he was very proud. Another child had said he had made it and the teacher believed the child. Other kids in the circle said accusingly that Peter was joking and pointed at him. Peter was immensely sad because now he could not take the beautiful woodwork home with him. Moreover, he has come to feel that the teacher does not believe and trust him. He does not feel seen and appreciated.
Solution in creativity
After discovering this story, mother does more creative activities with Peter at home. She expresses appreciation for his enthusiasm and enjoyment. For example, “How nice that you are having so much fun making this drawing. Space is made in the attic for lego and crafts, so Peter can use his imagination. Mother guides Peter when he needs help in implementing his ideas, but lets Peter do it himself. Peter regains his confidence, makes friends and his creative ideas flow. He is happy again. As a result, things are going better at school as well.
Before bedtime
It is important for Peter to learn to express his feelings. Mother and Peter go over the day before bed and conclude with the very best moment. In this way, they practice discussing and expressing feelings together.
From depressed to cheerful
By attending the HeartConnection Training, mother understands more and more about herself and her son. For example, during this period Peter has a few days of knee pain: resolution of a self-esteem conflict. Also, his warts become inflamed and dissolve. He went from happy to depressed and back to happy again.
