Mountaineering ego
During the HeartConnection Training you are in a process of change or encounter with yourself. You are walking a beautiful mountain - your personal path. Read about your personal mountain hike below.
During the HeartConnection Training you are in a process of change or encounter with yourself. You are walking a beautiful mountain – your personal path. Your heart, soul and personality want to walk the mountain as well as get to the other side to take on the adventure. The adventure of meeting yourself in total connection. Only the ego prefers to walk down the mountain, back to where you started.
Ego as saboteur
The ego tries tremendously hard to stop or sabotage your mountain walk. The ego is enormously creative in coming up with hundreds of reasons not to follow your mountain walk. Like falling into old habits, fears and control and especially judgments. Keep this in mind.
Examples of sabotage from the ego
- Getting tired, looking up to things and making something bigger than it is. The ego makes you focus on your complaint(s). You then give those so much attention that your complaint(s) remain correct. Because everything you give attention to, that’s where your energy goes and makes you bigger. We elaborate on this during training sessions.
- You’re doing well and suddenly you have to deal with setbacks, which your ego then makes a lot of drama out of: ‘See, I’ll never succeed.’ So much energy goes into your drama that you have no energy left to follow your path.
- An old complaint comes back and your ego says, “See, what nonsense you are doing” or “Watch out, you have to try even harder, you have to follow your exercises/meditation/diet/etc. even better.
- Lingering in toxic relationship(s), situation(s). So much energy goes into this, you don’t have time to follow your beautiful mountain hike.
- Judging your partner, parents, colleagues, family, others, situations, news and especially yourself. You blame the other person for your own complaints, for your own frustrations. You put the focus outside yourself. In other words, your ego distracts you and starts judging. From this judgment (ego), your mountain walk becomes too hard and you drop out.
- You want to make giant strides to finish your mountain hike as soon as possible. Your ego gets frustrated because your “progress” is not going fast enough. You then no longer see the small positive changes and the energy leaks out of your ether body (explanation day 4 training HeartConnection 1). As a result, you no longer have the strength to walk your mountain path. Meanwhile, your ego causes you to feel all the more frustration, irritation, anger, fears, fatigue or other symptoms.
- ‘What nonsense to follow your mountain walk by yourself,’ says the ego. ‘Surely the other person can take away my complaint(s)?’ The ego runs from therapist to therapist, believing that a remedy can and should eliminate the complaint(s). The ego needs resources to feel better. And so each time the ego finds a new method, another book or yet another therapy that works even better. Finally, the ego says, “I have already done so much” or “I already know all this.
- Your ego says, “HeartConnection says resources are not good,” and turns that into a whole story. But in doing so, your ego pulls a fact out of context. We call this “interpretation of your ego pain. Note: HeartConnection has no judgments about resources, therapies, treatments, and so on. She does not give solutions and advice. HeartConnection provides ancient knowledge and unique wisdom.
- You get completely into the theory and want to fully understand the subject matter and complaint. In this way, the ego causes you to misunderstand precisely. Whereupon you start delving even more into matter, into theory. In doing so, the ego prevents you from connecting.
- Your ego starts fantasizing facts. From ego pain, a comment or a situation creates a complete drama. For example, “You let me down because you won’t take me away” or “You don’t do what I say and now I don’t like you. Or how about, “See, no one listens to me” or “I’m all alone because you don’t want to go to the movies with me. These pain moments become beliefs and then subjective truths. Your ego beliefs have now become true. Then you see, hear, smell, taste, feel the world from your beliefs. And note: you are not alone, because the other person is also living from his/her beliefs!
- Wanting to convince the other person of the beautiful work of HeartConnection and you fail in this, the other person is not interested at all. You feel responsible for the other person; you want to help the other person; you focus on the other person, situation, work, so you don’t have to concern yourself with yourself.
During Training HeartConnection, you will learn how these conflict intrusions with its belief(s) affect your physical body. You learn where the cause of a complaint (illness) comes from and the circle is complete again.
HeartConnection stands for neutrality
HeartConnection teaches you to follow your own unique and beautiful mountain walk and to take responsibility for it. In connection, fusion and letting go. After this fusion, you start choosing what you do want. What do you want? Your choice, your purpose you also make from connection, fusion and manifestation.
I wish you
* feel yourself in everything you encounter;
* you receive the invitation to connect with yourself;
* so that you merge with your body, soul and personality.
That’s HeartConnection!
Enjoy your beautiful mountain hike.
