Bedwetting
"I've had red pimples on my cheeks since I was a year old. And I wet the bed from 0 until now. That's why I still have a diaper. When boyfriends are around, I don't like this. Also having a diaper on, I don't like it." Below is the explanation of bedwetting.
Sander (7) came to my practice today. A cheerful, open little boy. Clear, alert and in touch with me and his environment. Sander went all out playing with Lucky, my doggie of three years, this is his great friend. We discussed what he has. “I’ve had red pimples on my cheeks since I was a year old. And I wet the bed from 0 until now. That’s why I still have a diaper. When boyfriends are around, I don’t like this. Also having a diaper on, I don’t like it.”
Operation subconscious
I explain that in his stomach he has a computer (= subconscious) with all kinds of wires throughout his body (meridians) that connect to all kinds of files (= organs) and memories stored all over the body (= emotions, traumas, beliefs). Sometimes a connection is a little congested. When I put my hand on it, it starts flowing again. This may cause a hot, cold or tingling sensation. And the lines from the computer then flow well again.
When I ask to feel his body, he experiences fear, his heart beats faster. We are waiting for this to calm down again. His mother says this is true, that he suffers from anxiety quickly. For example, with a speaking engagement, with intimidating friends, as well as fear of failure, and so on.
Heavy labor
We go back in time and discuss childbirth. Mother experiences an emotion of sadness for the first time now that it is about childbirth. I ask her if the baby was anywhere else after delivery? Indeed, he went to the baby’s room at night because mother was totally exhausted from the hard labor. With both mother and Sander, I feel the energy of “mother-soul-only” (see below). We end up with bedwetting. At night he recovers from this “mother-soul-only” conflict and allows the fluid to flow (= recovery). During the day he goes to school without a mother, this is stress on the body. At night, his mother is close by and Sander goes back into solution by “releasing moisture. This manifests itself in “bedwetting.
Bedwetting
Bedwetting has several causes, including the relationship with father and his father. As a son, did Sanders’ father feel protected by his father? Once protection is lacking, the body’s biology takes over. You then start marking territory by urine at night.
Red pimples from biology
From biology, the red pimples are the recovery phase of a separation conflict experienced by mother and baby during the difficult delivery. Mother, moreover, also went to work full time soon after Sanders’ birth.
All is well
I tell Sander that everything is fine, and that the body will recover on its own. We are confident together and we are taking our time for this. Nothing is in a hurry, everything is allowed to be as it is. The body signals that certain threads are allowed to flow better, and this is going to happen again. Until then, the body may give signals such as red pimples, dry skin, itching and bedwetting. Beaming, Sander returns home with his mother. After understanding his story, Sander’s pimples were gone within a few days.
Mother-Soul-Alone Conflict
According to biological science, we are most similar to wolves. Wolves live in a herd (pack). When the wolf loses its herd, it becomes disoriented. This keeps the wolf in the same place and allows the herd to find him again. In the big forest, the chances of the “left alone” wolf finding its herd again are slim.
What do we need to survive? Water. What does the body do when we have lost “our herd”? The kidney collecting ducts close and the body retains fluid. When the wolf finds its herd again, it releases the retained moisture (goes to pee a lot).
That’s how it works for Sander, too. At night he is with mom and dad (the herd) and his body goes into solution (= he releases fluid). During the day he leaves the herd, he goes to school and he retains fluids.
Bedwetting has stopped
After several months, bedwetting stopped. His parents both dove into HeartConnection’s work to find out their son’s story. Several family stories they met and discussed, confronting and enlightening at the same time. Parents are more comfortable in their own skin, a renewed relationship has developed and their son has stopped bedwetting. Wonderful how biology works!
